The second agricultural product quality and safety risk assessment expert committee was established in Beijing

On December 28, the 2nd National Agricultural Product Quality Safety Risk Assessment Experts Committee was established in Beijing. The meeting heard the work report of the first session of the National Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Risk Assessment Experts Committee, Qu Huqu, and fully affirmed the work of the first expert committee and issued a letter of appointment to the members of the second expert committee. The Ministry of Agriculture has identified the first batch of 65 professional and regional agricultural product quality and safety risk assessment laboratories, and successively carried out basic risk assessments on the quality and safety risks of major edible agricultural products. The special risk assessment of key products, key areas, and key risk factors has provided strong technical support for the supervision of quality and safety of agricultural products. The meeting emphasized that in the supervision of quality and safety of agricultural products, it is necessary to give full play to the strong technical support role of the expert committee.
