Only 50 micron diameter 3D printing breaks through the hair making problem

Previous 3D printers were unable to print dense and fine objects, and researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Media Lab recently solved this problem by designing new software. They used a software called Cilllia to let users create "hairs" on the plane using the slider. Hair made using this method has a diameter of 50 microns, which is comparable to normal hair.
