The initial tack tester is manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T4852-2002 of the People's Republic of China. The initial tack tester is suitable for initial tack test of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes and other products. .1 Working principle: Roll a steel ball over the adhesive surface of the adhesive tape that is placed flat on the inclined plate. The size of the initial viscosity of the zui large steel ball which can be adhered according to the specified length of the adhesive surface is evaluated.

2 instrument structure:

2.1 Inclined ball rolling device: This device is mainly composed of inclined plate, ball arranging device, bracket, base and ball receiving box.

2.2 Steel ball: It is made of GCr15 bearing steel, and the precision is not lower than the grade 0 and diameter specified in GB 308-77 "Steel Ball". 32 steel balls of ~1 inch can be used as steel balls for testing.

The steel ball is volleyball number according to 32 times its inch diameter. A set of steel balls with a continuous number of balls should be used for the test.

Steel balls should be stored in anti-rust oil. Balls with rust and scars must be replaced in time.

1 preparation work

1.1 Adjust the inclined ball rolling device to the horizontal position. Adjust the inclination of the inclined plate to 30° unless otherwise specified.

1.2 Wipe the surface of the glass and both sides of the polyester film with a non-great gauze with a cleaning agent, and then wipe it off with gauze.

1.3 Remove the steel ball from the anti-rust oil and put it in a container containing detergent to soak for a few minutes. After taking it out, wipe it with a clean cleaning agent and gauze repeatedly, then wipe it with clean gauze. Steel balls, using clean bamboo (wood, bone) and other tools such as tweezers.

1.4 Place the adhesive tape sample on the inclined plate with the adhesive side facing up as shown in Figure 2. A polyester film is applied as a roll-up section at a predetermined portion. The roller section should be flat and free from defects such as air bubbles and wrinkles. The 100mm range below the roll-up section is the test section.

1.5 Attach the sides of the roller section and the lower end of the specimen to the inclined plate with adhesive. If necessary, the adhesive tape can also be fixed along both sides of the test section to make the sample flatly fit on the board.

1.6 Use a pair of tweezers to clamp the steel ball into the ball ejector and adjust the front and rear position of the ball ejector so that the center of the ball is on the starting line of the roller.

Before the formal test, one test specimen is allowed to make multiple test tests, but the left and right position of the ball release device should be adjusted to make the steel ball

The track that rolls over each time does not coincide. When the width of the sample is larger than 25 mm, the area 25 mm wide at the center of the sample is the effective test area.

2.2 pre-selected zui big steel ball

2.2.1 Gently punch the ball dispenser to see if the rolled steel ball is stuck in the test section (stop moving for less than 5 s). From large to small, take the steel balls of different ball numbers for proper testing until you find the zui ball steel ball that can be stuck in the test section.

2.2 Take the above two balls of the Zui big ball steel ball and the ball number, and carry out a test on the same sample to confirm the steel ball of the Zui big ball.

2.3 formal test

Three samples were taken and one ball test was performed with each of the Zui large ball steel balls. If a sample does not stick to the steel ball, it can be replaced with a ball that is only smaller than its steel ball. If it still cannot be stuck, it must be retested according to 2.1.4~2.3.

Third, the test results

2 In the steel ball in which each of the three samples is stuck, if all three are zui big ball steel balls, or two are zui big ball steel balls, and the other ball number is only smaller than the zui big ball number, The test result is represented by the large ball of zui; if one is a large ball of zui, and the other two balls are only smaller than the big ball of zui, the test result is a steel ball number that is only smaller than the large ball of zui.
