Livestock control "grasshoppers"

When livestock such as cattle, sheep, and pigs eat grass fodder or mistakenly eat whole crops such as radish, sweet potato, and sugar beet, their roots clog in their esophagus and cannot slide. They are called “grass mites”. Once livestock have developed "grasshoppers", failure to take immediate rescue measures will often lead to undesirable consequences, and may even lead to the death of livestock such as cattle, sheep and pigs. Symptoms: Suddenly stop eating, shook his head and neck, drooling mouth, continuous vomiting or swallowing movements, dark red eyes, mucous membranes, rapid heartbeat, irritability. Cattle and sheep may also trigger rumen hernia. Treatment: Do not panic when encountering livestock “grasshoppers”. Five rescue methods can be used. (1) If the obstruction site is in the front part of the esophagus, hold it by hand and remove it. (2) If the obstruction is in the upper part of the esophagus, first 50 milliliters of vegetable oil, and then push to the pharynx by hand, and then remove the obstruction from the mouth. (3) Use a short rein to hold the left forelimb of the animal and allow it to lower its head as far as possible. Then drive the animal up and down the slope to run it quickly. Repeat several times. (4) First, a small amount of vegetable oil is poured, and then a hard rubber tube is inserted into the esophagus from the nostrils, and the obstruction is slowly pushed into the stomach. (5) After the exclusion of the foreign material in the throat, 500 g of white liquor, 150 to 250 g of kerosene, and 1,000 g of vinegar are mixed once after the exclusion of the rumen and the urine is mixed; 500 g of vinegar is mixed and then fed once.
